Caring for our Watersheds
Program All students grades 7-12 are asked to write a 1000 word proposal of what they can do to improve their watershed (including a budget). Prizes to be won, implementation funds available. Sustainability projects in the school and community are encouraged.

River Watch (Water Quality & Monitoring)
Program River Watch, a program of the Red River Centre for Watershed Education, has teachers, students and citizens teaming up to monitor the water quality of selected rivers and streams in the Red River watershed. The program is delivered in Manitoba by the Oak Hammock Marsh Interpretive Centre. With some training, participants collect, analyze, and share water samples and data.
